In 1999 I sculpted a large head with head dress for a 'spirit' called the Sage of Time. Y2K fever was running rampant and Michael Curry had been hired to art direct the upcoming Superbowl halftime show, and the Sage of Time was to be the centerpiece. We had many pieces and puppets in the show and I helped to train close to 200 local school kids to work with the different props we had made. In addition to sculpting this giant head, I was the driver and puppeteer for the halftime show.
